In this intensive course, participants will gain insight on color theories and applications associated with color interactions, psychology, relativity and physical color properties.

They'll review examples of textiles design and patterning, color in print media and communication, and illustration, as well as 3D physical media. A Key anchor will be color as a method to convey meaning, carry on a story, or speak to the psychology or impact of a work or art or design; with emphasis on the subtractive color systems and physical color applications, participants will also look deeper into alternative ways of producing colors, such as dyes and natural pigment production to further expand, and inspire the participants individual creative process.
