Foundations in Art History is a course that runs once a week for six weeks. The course targets individuals with limited background in art history, intending to introduce key ideas that have guided the trajectory of global art histories from ancient times to the present age. Taught in English, the course seeks to familiarise art enthusiasts with various approaches to analysing artistic narratives and discussing works of art.

The course addresses the issue of “Reading, Unpacking, and Rewriting Global Art Histories.” NEXUS includes a broad survey of global currents in the arts throughout the 20th century and into the present day.

This workshop takes you step-by-step through alternative methods of silkscreening, looking at the practice of silkscreen past it's traditional methods. Participants learns how to use silk screening materials and be introduced to how stencil-cutting techniques can become part of their silkscreening process, guided by artist Ali Hussain.
